Flyer 1 was designed and built by the Wright brothers, James and Orville. It had a motor built from scratch and is generally considered to be the first successful powered, piloted aircraft. This replica is hand crafted, just like the original. It is also meticulously painted and features the intricate details of the plane from that famous day in 1903 at Kittyhawk, NC.
