Product Details

This dependable aircraft was well suited for endurance flights, and it was the Electra that famed aviator Amelia Earhart and her navigator took on that fateful trip around the world. The plane and its crew were presumed lost at sea when the Coast Guard lost radio communications with her after trying to find the tiny island they were to land on. 60 years later in 1997 aviator Linda Finch took the same flight as her hero, in a Lockheed Electra and completed the flight as a tribute to Earhart.

Our tribute to this craft and pilot is created from solid mahogany and hand painted for authenticity. The removable stand will showcase your model with pride.

Order this tribute to aviation and bring home a piece of history.
