The Cessna Citation line of business jet aircraft has a long and particularly complicated history, with dozens of different versions produced. A wide range of different offerings are available to the public, and there are a few military variants as well, including the T-47 and UC-35.
The Cessna Citation II business jet was built as a larger and faster version of the original Citation model, with a longer range to boot. In addition to nearly a thousand civilian examples, the U.S. Navy operated a modified Citation II as the T-47, a radar trainer aircraft, and the type was also in use with the Department of Defense as the OT-47, a drug interdiction aircraft. This highly successful corporate jet is reproduced here in a high-quality, finely detailed model that makes it a perfect choice for any collector.
