T-38C Talon

The T-38 Talon, produced by Northrop, was the world's first supersonic trainer aircraft, and remains the most prolific, with nearly 1200 units built. It is used in its primary role by several nations' military forces, as well as a number of civilian agencies and corporations, including NASA. For a time, the T-38 was used by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team, until replaced by the F-16 Eagle.
