The T-1 Jayhawk, sharing the same letter-number designator as its predecessor, is the intermediate and advanced trainer for U.S. Military cargo and transport pilots, as well as some Naval Flight Officers. Developed from the Beechjet/Hawker 400, the T-1 has structural reinforcements and an additional fuel tank to support an increased number of flights per day compared to the average civilian craft.
