One of the bombs had come off in shipping, I had a lot of trouble reattaching it and as I did so a smaller missles under the wing broke off and I had to reglue it even tho you could tell it was damaged. The dowel it sits on in the stand also broke off as I set the plane on it and I had to reglue it also.I needed it immediately for my son's Wing ceremony in the USAF or I would have returned it for a replacement. It is beautiful and he loved it. I had a plaque made with the event and date for him to display but warned him of the fragile nature. I would certainly recommend it to anyone that has such an event, it is a wonderful momento of the occasion. I am an experienced craftsperson and did not mishandle the item in any way to cause the damages, it is just a fragile model that parts of it should be redesigned. the wings did not go easily into holes provided and I had to manipulate them into position, although this did work and did not cause any further damage.
