So, being in the Military and having the A-10 as our fighter jet, I have decided to buy this "nice looking" model airplane for my boyfriend and I. I received my model airplane and it was HORRIBLE. I was shocked at the condition I had first received it in. I spent around $80 for a piece of garbage. After calling modelplanes.com I spoke with a very nice woman who helped me out immensely and was condsiderate to my opinions. I had to box up the item and ship it back. The plane had dents all alone the body. The bombs were broken in pieces. And it states that it is covered with 4 coatings of polyurethane..this is true. But what it does not state is that if the polyurethane bubbled up someone just scraped off the excess making the plane look just plain BAD. So I received my second plane in the mail and I was surprised at the difference. The plane I have now is immaculate except for one Ding/chip on the front of the engine. At this point, I will buy some wood paint and touch it up my self. It is a nice plane and a good company that works with its customers but I would not buy recommend buying this A-10 to anyone because if anyone experienced what I did after my recommendation, I would be embarassed.
