The Boeing 377 was a fairly popular luxury airliner built using design features from the B-50 bomber, itself a derivative of the B-29 bomber. It was one of the few propeller-driven airliners to have a double-deck arrangement, and its pressurized cabin made it very comfortable at high altitudes. Although made obsolete by the arrival of jet airliners in the 1960s, a number of 377s were converted to oversize transports known as Super Guppies.
The Boeing 377 is presented here as a finely detailed replica of a Pan American World Airways airliner. Handcrafted construction and a high-quality finish make this item a prime choice for any enthusiast or collector.
